Animal Flow you say? Sure, let's! Friday Five, week 2!

I hope you're doing well and keeping safe. I am sending you last week's Friday Five now because you have just recently subscribed to my weekly email and I didn't want you to miss out! For this week's workout, I have decided to add in some Animal Flow! 🤸‍♀️ #1 Animal Flow workout You'll be happy to know that you get to see my face in all the exercises I am sharing below: 🤪 Warm up: Wrist mobility [30s of each exercises] Animal flow moves: Loaded beast Wave unload Static beast Underswitch (beast to crab) Crab reach Underswitch (crab to beast) Perform each move 4-5 times before going into the flow below (which essentially stitches it all together). Animal Flow #1: Start in loaded beast Wave unload Return to loaded beast Set static beast Right leg underswitch Left arm crab reach Return to crab Right arm crab reach Return to crab Left leg underswitch Rest Repeat until the flow feels controlled and strong! Let me know how it goes and feel free to share videos for form feedback! #2 Podcast this week I will usually share podcasts that inspire me in practical terms i.e. fitness and nutrition knowledge, life coaching and mentoring and just overall self-improvement. Linked above in the title is one of my favourite episodes on "The Tim Ferriss Show" so far...Tim Ferriss' interview with Seth Godin "How to Say “No,” Market Like a Professional, and Win at Life ". Seth's an absolute legend (I recommend his blog if you don't already know of it). He is the author of 18 brilliant best-selling books, a marketing pioneer and a serial entrepreneur (and frankly, SO much more). Anyway, won't go on about this, have a listen and let me know what you think! #3 Healthy habit hack Frylight Oil Spray If you are trying to save calories on a specific day, this is pretty handy. Frankly I hardly use normal oil anymore (except for olive oil here and there....but hey I am Italian 🇮🇹).

Frylight has a range of these, but some do have more additives in them than others (sunflower is the one I found with the least additives). If you don't trust what's in them, you can simply make an equivalent yourself! Buy an empty spray bottle, fill it with your favourite oil, et voilà, JOB DONE! #4  Weekly challenge DAILY NEGATIVE PUSH-UPS! Instructions: 1. Test how many full push-ups (chest to floor, elbows in) you can do at the start of this challenge. 2. The following days perform 5 x 5s lowering negative push-ups every morning (this will take 1 minute of your time and create a quick improvement in strength, worth a try!) 3. Test your push-up form and how many repetitions you can do, at the end of the week. So, have they improved? I bet they have! This daily exercise will improve your form regardless of whether you can or can't do push-ups. I also made a little how-to video for you to have a look at if helpful! I will be doing the daily negative push-ups also, and will be sharing my starting max repetitions and my ending max repetitions!
